The CIAC offers cultural activities at very accessible rates and quite often offers activities free of charge. Its fees are among the lowest for cultural activities in Montréal and its educational programs are highly appreciated by the educational community.
In order to provide these services, the CIAC obtains public funding from the governments of Québec and Canada and from the city of Montréal. For some specific projects it also receives funding from foreign governments.
This public support does not cover all the production costs of its activities, however. The CIAC thus needs private funding from individuals and businesses working in cultural development and committed to citizens' quality of life. This private funding can take the form of donations, sponsorships or in-kind services.
