In Immobilité (Extraterrestrial Glitch Remix), a film entirely created on a mobile phone, Mark Amerika pursues the adventure of a scenario free filming. The diegesis is left to improvisation, manipulation of softwares and poetic subtitles. Although Immobilité has been traveling throughout the world since its release in 2007, Amerika created, exclusively for the Biennale de Montreal, a short and unpublished version called Extraterrestrial Glitch Remix. A major player in the Remix culture, Amerika composes with the irregular aesthetics of the Video Jockey and the computer glitch. The spectator sees the traces left by the manipulation of digital technologies and the artistic accidents generated during the artist's performance.
