CIAC’S ELECTRONIC MAGAZINE (1997-2014)

The first electronic magazine in Canada!

The CIAC’s Electronic Magazine was a bilingual publication published on the Centre international d’art contemporain de Montréal’s website. From 1997 to 2014, the Magazine explored the new field of web art and covered important trends and significant events in this creative field. Each issue includes articles on specific web projects, interviews with artists, reports on exhibitions or special events, suggestions for sites to visit, comments on electronic works.

 

With an average of 20,000 visitors per month, the Magazine offered a critical reflection on web art and served as a discussion forum on new technologies and their impacts on society.
