We recently received a wonderful essay by Teresa Lucia Cicciarella, PhD., who has a particular interest in this medium. She introduces us to the work of Elaine Sturtevant, an American artist we had not yet featured.

Teresa Lucia Cicciarella holds a Ph.D. in art history and is a lecturer in art history and design at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, Italy.
